even the cat is hot.

 

It's hot. I've been trying to think of something to blog about, but the all-consuming heat just seems to be making me less than stellar at, you know, thinking.  

So, let me think of what's going on around here. 

We got some new vitamins. 

OH, much more importantly, this teeny tiny baby below...

 

...has somehow gone and gotten big enough to start kindergarten. 

So we have been buying school uniforms and a Hello Kitty backpack, a Hello Kitty lunchbox, a Hello Kitty thermos, and some new pink tennis shoes! She is a little bit nervous but more than ready to go. She already knows most of the things that they learn in K so although it seems really wrong to send my tiny little 4 year old to kindergarten, if I hold her back another year she will be SO bored. 

Once I finish weeping, I will be sure to possibly eventually get around to blogging about it. 

We've been having a heated debate about the proper/preferred usage of the Oxford comma.  Surely that is exciting enough for it's own blog post right?
