Another trip to the zoo!

Becca and I took Holden and Charlotte to the zoo today:

This is the brand new baby giraffe- he was born October 1st. Charlotte loved it and we bought a little tiny stuffed giraffe at the gift shop on the way out.

HoHo wanted to get to those gazelles really badly:

Real animals- only okay. Dirty fake animals? AWESOME.
She kept rubbing on it and saying "I love you little panda"

In with one of the monkey exhibits was this one little otter. One of the zoo people came by to feed her mealworms (yuck) and was telling us about her. Her name is Lucy and she is really old. Apparently otters mate for life and her mate died recently and she has been lonely... so she is being sent to another zoo that has an older male that also lost his mate.
The exhibit will be getting 9 new otters soon.
