First off, I want to thank Kellie for my bloggy award- I agree with her that it does look totally 80s and awesome.
It is an award with obligations, so here you go:
1. The winner can put the logo on their blog.
2. Link to the person you received your award from.
3. Nominate at least 7 other blogs. ( I am totally cheating on this one)
4. Put links of those blogs on yours.
5. Leave a message on the blogs you've nominated.
6. Write an acceptance speech in the style of the Academy Awards, thanking everybody's mother, father, sister, brother, aunties and uncles and kitchen staff at your favorite restaurant!

Honesty, since my mom and Mary and I all read the same blogs, I had to leave them some options for people to award.
FOR LYNDSEY: I find awesome pictures like the man and his blazer/shorts combo through a fabulous waste of time called.... "hours surfing the internet with no apparent purpose". But you all clearly get to reap the benefits of my time wasting.
FOR LORI: YES, you can use Google Reader with a gmail account but it would be more awesome if you had one... even if you just used it for this. ( You can also share stuff with your friends in gmail if you use a gmail account)
Go to Google.com and click on the thing at the top that says "more"- it will drop down and you will see one that says "Reader". You will sign up with your email account and then see a little box that says "Add Subscriptions"- all you do is copy and paste in your favorite blogs and then you can just log in everyday and see what all is new! There is even a little thing you can drag up to your toolbar to just click and subscribe to a new blog without being logged into Reader or dealing with the whole copy/paste thing.

oh Brillante you!!! 80's rock the house! ...one day our daughters will ask us "mom, what were the 80's like?" ahh that is so scary. Have you seen the latest jcpenny commercial...of the Breakfast club circa 2008?? Kids are probably like what is the deal with that??
in response to what Kellie said...we saw the JCPenny Commercial of Breakfast Club and it literally took the 8 of us the entire commercial to figure out what was happening. Finally i was like "i think it was that old movie?" and jeff said "oh yeah..that one where they go to saturday school or something...". So there you go
I was born in 1979 and even I know that Claire is a fat girl's name.
Also, both Nic Cage and John Cusack were cast in the role of John Bender -Judd Nelson- before he got the part.
