This is a satellite shot from Google Maps of all the parking lots at BBC:

They filled EVERY parking place, plus the seminary parking across the street and then people were just parking on nearby streets and walking in. So needless to say, there were a lot of people.
Charlotte's idea of a perfect evening is LOTS OF PEOPLE AND BEING OUTSIDE.
She kept walking up to strangers (and some non-strangers) and begging for food. At one point she saw a man and his kids who were laying down on their blankets and she walked up in between them and started to lay down with them when I grabbed her.
Also, she likes Pronto Pups.

Trying to escape as soon as we get the cameras out:
Running away from mommy:
I am pretty sure we should all be investing in Radio Flyer- in our little area alone there were at least 10 wagons:

Betsie and Ainsley:
Becca smiling for a special picture- please click for a larger view of the scenery. I swear I don't make fun of people, but this is just worth noting:

OH- I almost forgot! Charlotte did NOT care for the fireworks. She was so excited and kept asking and looking for them but once it actually started she was pretty nervous. She wasn't crying or anything but she just wanted me to hold her and she was actually quivering and her little heart was beating so fast. So I threw her in the wagon and we headed for the car- which turned out to be a blessing since we still didn't get home until after 10:30 even without waiting in the traffic.

Well Isabella loved the fireworks so we stayed and did not get home until 11:45. The place where we parked was at a standstill for at least 45 min. My parents said they watched from the nearby Kirklands lot and there were at least 2-3000 people watching there. Long night but it was worth it!!
I want my fireworks!! I really wonder how Avery will react...& I hate the traffic leaving these things. We are scouting out a new area this year.
enjoying the cooler weather here too!
