I get that Global Warming is probably a real thing. I watched Planet Earth- I saw the polar bear swim around with no where to land.
What I don't get is how every time it is just a teensy bit hotter in California or it doesn't snow in Minnesota in June someone starts screaming "Global Warming!!!". The temperatures- they fluctuate. They just do. Every year. There is this old timey thing called an Almanac. Go check it out if you don't believe me.
Take for instance the local 7 day forecast :

The point here is this- I know the numbers may not be terribly different from some of those in our weather history for this time of year but believe me that outside it pretty much feels like the OPPOSITE OF GLOBAL WARMING. The humidity or whatever is just not here yet. It is not yet to the point that I don't even want to go check the mail while the sun is shining. Somehow I will be watching fireworks on Sunday night with an expected low temperature of 67 degrees.
67 degrees is practically winter.
Unless all the heat is being sucked out of Memphis by a giant underground tube and being used to melt the polar ice caps so that someone can frame Al Gore and make him look like a moron?
I don't know. I do know that it feels nice and I will take it as long as it lasts.

Just for the record....out here in California it's been so hot and dry that the ground as spontaneously combusted and we have had wildfires. Taking down mansions!! I think it could be true...afterall San Francisco is normally about 65 degrees year-round and it's been about a hundred.
crazy.
