Not that a ton of people read this blog anymore since I gave in to lure of Facebook, I know there are a few of you that do. I have no pictures to post, because lets face it, all I do is lay on the couch and watch tv. Not much to photograph- Charlotte rarely even gets dressed. I just figure it makes more laundry for Matt to do :)
Because this blog is also primarily a record keeping tool of our lives, allow me to be redundant for a while :) I know none of this will be new information for most of you.
After several years of begging and pleading (first from Matt and then Charlotte joined in) I conceded to try and have another baby. Imagine my surprise when it happened fairly quickly (it took 8 months with C) and we learned that we would have another tiny Babb in late November.
We managed to keep it a secret for 5 weeks or so but once I started to get sick, we knew there was no way we could hide it anymore.
With Charlotte, I was sick from week 9 to week 21. This pregnancy seems to be following a similar pattern- only I got started a little earlier. Pregnancy and my body just do not get along. I don't know why my body rejects it so vehemently, but it is not pleasant.
So, here are a list of things I will remember (so far) about this pregnancy:
-nausea
-more nausea
-vomiting frosted flakes
-watching House Hunters
-getting nauseous from watching Matt play Plants vs. Zombies
-my extreme loathing of all things in casserole form
-reading incessantly about the Arizona Immigration Law
-LOST coming to an end ( and reading about it on thefuselage.com)
-tv days with Charlotte where I let her watch all the shows I never ever let her watch ( Fresh Beat Band being the worst)
-my fierce hatred of the Sex in the City 2 movie
- eating McDonalds and now Sonic every morning for breakfast
-Matt taking Charlotte to Walmart with a giant list- I think he has a whole new appreciation for everything I do!
-Charlotte's obsession with the baby's "tube" otherwise known as the "umbilican cord"
-Charlotte wanting to name the baby "Oh Toodles" if it is a girl and "Toodles" if it is a boy
That's all for now.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! That is really exciting! I can't wait to see pictures!!
OMG, I laughed out loud when I read what Charlotte wants to name the baby! Gotta love Playhouse Disney :-) I'm sorry you're feeling so bad...I'm guessing this means it will be another girl, but I guess we'll have to wait and see!

Congrats! I'm just a few weeks ahead of you. I almost puked this morning and I'm 20.5 weeks. I thought I was done with this stuff, but I guess not! Hope you get to feeling better soon. I feel your pain.
