So in case you haven't noticed...it has been a while since I posted... The spring weather has kicked in and I have been spring cleaning and working in the yard. Just like my mom, I have planted a mini-garden so we'll see how that works out. I do have a houseplant that I have managed to keep alive for almost 2 years now. I only water it about every 2 months yet somehow it keeps hanging in there. Most of the time it looks pretty sad though. I sure do like the idea of not having to buy onions and potatoes and carrots and stuff at the grocery store though.
Before we move to the picture portion of today's post- how about a little update?
Potty training is still going well- it has been quite some time now and we have only had a few accidents- we don't even do a pull-up for naptime, just bedtime. Although there are times when it is a pain (like at Target with a basket full of stuff), it really hasn't been all that traumatic.
Charlotte has discovered that she enjoys an audience. While in Hobby Lobby the other day she was singing ( at the top of her lungs no less) a song she inventedby amalgamating "You Are My Sunshine" and "When I See an Elephant Fly". She kept looking around to see how many people were looking at her and every time she would see a new person she would get louder and more animated. Don't even get me started on how happy she was when they smiled and encouraged her. She might have to go spend the summers with Uncle Jon and Aunt Megan so I can shop without embarrassment. {Side note for the Babb family: We have also sucessfully taught her the Crunktor!}
Here are some pictures my mom took today after church:

Jolie is quite the little performer too! The more people who give her attention the better.
I love having fresh veggies in the summer, but i HATE the work of the garden. Our backyard does not work well. It's oddly shaped & lots of trees. Plus, we have a giant dog.
Congrats on the potty training! It's such a big step : )
