So we loaded up and went to see Melanie.
I really didn't intend to get so much cut off, but it really did look good and the curls were getting curlier and generally it looked just not so scraggly.
Also, few people got to witness this, but it was pretty mullet-esque because the back grew much much faster than the sides. That is a huge part of why I was forced to keep it pulled up ALL the time.
She had a lollipop and a gigantic mirror so she couldn't have been happier. Even if she did spend the entire day calling Melanie, "Mallory".
Clearly the hair was not the source of all her goofiness:
UPDATE: Here are a few pictures from tonight- I know they are not the greatest but you still get a decent idea of how it looks. I didn't edit them for red eye or size or anything because I knew if I waited until I did that it would be several more days before I got around to posting them... 
It really looked cute- not to mention that it took like ZERO time to do.

Oh Avery needs a haircut sooo bad, but I remember the time Bryce went for the first time and I do not care to relive the agony {on his part} so I keep postponing it. Maybe she'll do fine....2009 I know it'll happen.
