According to Weather.com, it is 82 degrees outside and feels like 84. My personal forecast says that it feels like about 114 degrees. I don't know if you know this, but it is also OCTOBER 15th.
So, we went to the Pumpkin Patch today with our baby day friends. Much thanks to Patti for picking a record breaking day of HOT. Were it not for all the melting, it was the kind of place that is right up Charlotte's alley- outside, pumpkins, donkeys, chickens, slides, swings, baby friends...
I will forgive Patti only because my pumpkins are so cute.
Pumpkin Patch Friends:

We forgot to get them to hold up newspapers for that authentic "hostage" feel:

The hayride out to the pumpkins was tolerable thanks to the apple juice that I ALMOST FORGOT. Oh heaven help me- I do not want to imagine if there had been no juice.
ALSO- her jeans are NOT skin tight, it is just the way she is sitting. I know we are on a hayride but we didn't go full on redneck.

Picking out our pumpkins! {Side note: she is really hot but she did have on sunscreen and her skin turns red when she is hot- it is not sunburned or anything}

They had donkeys and goats and sheep for petting:

These little bitty goats were SO DANG CUTE:

Swinging:

Hot weather at pumpkin patches always ruin the fall mood doesn't it! I just want it to be low 70's/high 60's all the way until Christmas. Well we haven't gone a pumpkining yet...we had rain today so probably not tomorrow. We have a small window between soccer and Widespread!!
I love the hostage pic! Juice is a miracle worker here too.
