Well, we are home from our mini-vacation (Thanks C&C!). We had a great time--Charlotte LOVES LOVES LOVES the lake. She has a pretty long attention span for an almost 2-year old as it is, but even I was surprised at how long she would sit and stare at the water.
So here are many, many pictures for your enjoyment:

Side note- if you notice her bracelets- we stopped at a store and she wanted this little yellow beaded bracelet and the lady gave her a free purple "friendship" bracelet as well. They didn't match, but she really loved them.
We were walking back to the car and she insisted on carrying her towel/backpack thing all the way back:

There was no tub so she had to take a shower and she loved that as well:

I so love that last pic of C. Looks like you guys had a blast. She looks like she is 4 in the one of her eating watermelon!

What great pictures. I'm glad you made it back safely, and thanks for reassuring me on the water safety. You know I'd have freaked thinking she'd tumble over that wall into the water. So, she's a water baby, uh?

Well it certainly looks like a beautiful spot to vacation. And your daughter is a doll. My son will be two on Aug 14th, how about your little one?
