Ever since last summer we have talked about getting Charlotte a wagon- the only thing that stopped us was the fact that she hates being contained in anything (esp. a stroller) so we didn't want to spend all that money just for her to freak out and refuse to ride in it.
We could not have been more wrong.
Never ever in her (almost) two little years have I seen her more upset than the first time Daddy ended her wagon ride. On Father's Day, Matt had the pleasure of sitting outside and putting the new wagon together- I think it was a little mean of Target to put them on sale over Father's Day weekend. I know for a fact that Matt wasn't the only father who spent Sunday putting one together.
So he put it together and took her for a ride. Then he rolled back into the garage.... oh it was ugly. I heard her from inside the house and it lasted for 45 minutes or so. She repeated this the next time we came home and perhaps next time I will try to document it. It is pretty unbelievable.
Here are some fun times in the wagon for Charlotte and Holden- it makes them both incredibly happy. Until we come home of course.
Please note that my baby is a total grandma- she saw that towel down in between them and pulled it up and tucked it in around her legs even though it was almost 90 degrees.

Also, Holden was fully sunscreened and did not look horribly overheated and red in real life- the red canopy makes him look all rosy.

Cute!! I wanted to get a wagon for the girls, but since they will still sit in a stroller I couldn't ever justify it. And now we don't use a stroller any more. We might would use it if we were going on a major walking vacation, but I'm not planning one of those any time soon.
Wow! Holden looks a little pink-ed. (If that's a word.) But, you know, red roofs will do that to you!
She's got her Hollywood glasses, how cute!

I have always one those wagons...we have the little red wagon here. Avery wants to push her stroller or run away. Sometimes she will sit in it and ditto with the grocery carts.
