2 seasons left

LOST just happened. That is all I have to say right now.

Okay, I have a little more. As I have processed it today, I have decided that Sun was the star of that episode- she should win an Emmy for her performance last night. I know she didn't have the biggest storyline of the night, esp. in light of the long-awaited Desmond and Penny reunion, but her acting was perfect. She was so awesome when she handed that business card to Widmore.

Did anyone else get flashbacks of the WAAAALT-napping boat when that light started flashing towards the raft?

Also, let's reflect on the fact that Micheal Emerson was only supposed to be in a few episodes? (Not to mention that Jack wasn't supposed to live past the Pilot ep.)
I remember how much I loved "Henry Gale" but who knew he would turn into BEN?

I love Ben. I love Lost. I can't believe we have to wait until 2009.

I think Michael Emerson is great at playing manipulative people. I remember he was in The Practice for like a 5 episode arc playing a serial killer. I disagree about Sun, I mean she was good at showing her emotion in the helicopter but off the island she annoys me the most I think. I still sort of think Jin might be alive (Faraday's boat wasn't that far off) and I can't remember if we ever saw if Faraday and the boat went with the island or got left behind. Therefore, my 3 theories are..

1. Jin is alive (my weakest theory)
2. Charlotte = Annie (although I just can't remember if Annie had an accent..)
3. Widmore then Ben then Locke then ??? I think Widmore was the island's chosen one before Ben.

That leaves me top 3 favorite major characters (in order) at Ben, Sayid, Jack and Richard Alpert and Daniel Faraday and my minor faves.

I think when it's all said and done we will look back at Ben as being the real hero. The one who was able to handle a plane full of people landing unexpectedly on his island, an invasion by hostile forces, the death of his daughter, etc. and still have the foresight to see the big picture. Thoughts?

I am not sure about the Annie thing either.. esp. since there is the whole aging issue? Would she and Ben still be the same age? Why didn't they have any glimmer of recognition- he had obviously researched her background.

Jin could very well be alive. Esp. since the island moving effects time.

I am not sure about Widmore, but the way he said it "used to be mine" does make me think you might be on to something there.

Sun was awesome- I wouldn't have thought she could pull off the things that she has, nor did I think she could be so bitter and cold. I don't agree with her blaming Jack or being so angry- lots of people lost their loved ones, not just her. I just think she portrayed it very convincingly.

I don't know about Ben. I think that Jack (who wasn't on the list, isn't a man of faith, etc) will be the one to get some clarity and resolve some things. I think Ben is too selfish whereas Jack has learned enough to become selfless and I think that is what is going to happen.

Don't you think the old Sawyer would have made some fat comment to Hurley or pushed him out of that helicopter? I think he jumped not just for Kate, but for his friends too.

yeah for sure, I think Sawyer has turned a corner and really jumped for all of them. I don't see the whole "blame jack" thing though. Sayid is my favorite, but he didn't jump either. He told Sun it was too late for Jin too. He and Jack acted the same but everyone (on the message boards at least) blamed Jack. I agree that is seems Ben would have realized Charlotte was Annie..I'm not sure. Maybe he did and just didn't show it. Also, we will find out about Jin soon enough when we find out about the new contracts. Also, I think Widmore is my most likely theory. It seems very likely that he used to be on the island. And my theory of why Ben can't kill him is a little different than most peoples. I think Ben and Widmore are each others constants, so if one dies, they both die. That's why they go after the families. I don't think it's because "the island won't let him die". However, I do think Michael is dead. Because when Christian said "It's ok, you can go now", I took that to mean "you wanted to die, you can now. You served your purpose". Thoughts?
