Hi Jessica.
Just thought I'd step by and say hi. I've decided to retire from blogging, so I'm catching up with the old gang to say so long. But since we're both still at Bellevue we might bump into each other someday.
Your daughter is absolutely precious. I've still got pictures of my girls when they were that age. They make great blackmail material, so hang onto them! It's hard to believe that my oldest is driving now, and in a couple more years I'll have 3 teenagers in the house...
I talked to old John Mark, and he's doing good. He's had some trouble with fluid in his lungs, but he's much better now. He's moved back down to Alabama, and even gotten back in touch with his nieces and nephews. If nothing else good came out of the blogs, getting him out of the house is almost worth it all. He hadn't spoken to anyone in his family for almost 25 years. It's hard to imagine wasting such a long time, but apparently his great-nephews and -nieces have taken quite a liking to 'uncle John'. He promised to send me a picture soon, and I'll pass it along if he does.
I always enjoyed your compassionate posts 'back in the day'. I'm glad to have crossed paths with you, and like I said hopefully we'll bump into each other at BBC someday.
