Tigers

Poor Tigers. They were so close.
Those of you that know me also know that I would rather cut off my own foot with a hacksaw than watch sports of any kind- esp. basketball.

Matt had to work last night really late and I am going to admit to the world that I voluntarily flipped the TV channel off of 48 hours Mystery and onto the Memphis/Tennessee game.

They were doing well.

Fast Forward to about 10pm when Matt got here and we watched the last few minutes. It was so sad. Oh well, at least Memphis (the city) had something to be proud of for a few weeks at least. And being #2 isn't all that bad. (and watch this.. I am going to sound all sportsy for a second) And at least they didn't lose to UAB again. (I don't know what that means, but it sounds good right?)

If I ever start saying things like "at least WE didn't lose" please promptly lock me up and throw away the key.

It was just so hyped, who could help but wonder about the outcome? I can one-up you, because Mary and I sat and watched a good portion of it after you picked up curly baby.

I don't even know when there is a Super Bowl or who plays and I don't care and no NOTHING about sports of any kind - even the ones the kids participate in.

But this basketball game was talked about like it was the Britians vs. the Colonists and the outcome would determine the name of our country. . . . .

Yeah, I got home JUST in time to watch the start of the game after my basketball game (and of course after we went to Baskin Robbins. yum yum). It was kind of dissapointoing that Memphis didn't win after a perfect season. The start and the end of the game were really good. They were sinking 3's left and right. I wasn't really rooting for anyone, my method is see who wins and then pick a side. How late was Brandon out?
